Challenger Little League of Frederick - The Challenger Board of Frederick is an organization of six teams in 2006. Each is individually affiliated with Little League Organizations in Frederick County, MD. The Challenger Teams provide an opportunity for players with physical or developmental disabilities to participate in baseball to the maximum of their individual abilities.  The minimum age to play for boy or girl is 5-years-old.

Help Me Speak - Barbara A. Taylor - Our guest speaker at our May 2nd meeting.  She is a Speech Therapist and owner of "Help Me Speak".  She was very informative and helpful at understanding the muscles and dexterity used in speaking.  She also covered mouth, gum & tongue exercises to promote good speech.  She spoke about Dyspraxia and Dystharia in children with Down Syndrome along with "Prompt" cueing.
